What These Figures Do Not Cover
The prices above are engineering cost. Like any software project, there are third-party costs alongside it — these are the usual ones.
- •Apple Developer Program and Google Play registration fees, paid to Apple and Google
- •Hosting, domains and managed databases — Vercel, AWS, Railway, or your existing provider
- •Usage-based third-party services: Agora minutes, Firebase, Stripe's processing fees, transactional email
- •Paid design assets, stock photography or licensed fonts, if the project calls for them
Why this is on the pricing page
Because every one of these is a real cost, and a quote that pretends otherwise is not a quote — it is the first half of one. They are usually small next to development, and for most projects they are set up on your own accounts so that the billing, the ownership and the access all sit with you rather than with me.
Anything genuinely unusual for your project gets named and costed in the written scope before work starts, not discovered halfway through.

Every figure on this page is US dollars. Invoices are issued in USD and can be settled by international bank transfer, Wise, or a Stripe invoice, whichever is cheapest at your end. Clients based in Nepal can be quoted in NPR instead.
You do. The repository is yours from the first commit, and IP transfers to you on final payment for each milestone. Nothing is held back as leverage, and no part of your product is reused in someone else's project.
Yes. For well-specified projects, I provide a fixed-price quote in writing before any work begins. The price is agreed, milestones are defined, and there are no surprise hourly overruns.
My hourly rate covers design, development, code review, testing, and deployment. I track time precisely and only bill for hours worked. Minimum engagement is 10 hours.
A retainer gives you a set number of hours per month (typically 10–20 hours) for ongoing maintenance, feature additions, performance monitoring, and priority support. Includes a weekly status report.
Two reasons, and neither is the quality of the work. I am based in Kathmandu, where the cost of living is a fraction of London, Sydney or San Francisco, so a rate that is low to you is a good rate here. And I work as an independent developer, not an agency — there is no sales team, no account manager and no office to fund, so you are paying for engineering hours rather than overhead. What you can check independently is the output: three of the apps I have built are live on the App Store and Google Play.
Yes. The first conversation is always free. We will discuss your requirements, I will ask clarifying questions, and I will assess whether the project is a good fit before sending any quote.
