To solve this, I engineered Forest App — an offline-first Flutter application utilizing local SQLite database caching and spatial GPS logging. Field workers collect biodiversity statistics, geo-tagged photographs, and survey forms completely offline.
Once the device re-enters cellular coverage, the application executes a differential sync algorithm against a central PostgreSQL database, eliminating data loss and streamlining reporting for international donors.
